Why rent a dumpster from Creative Disposal & Recycling for your project?

How far in advance should I schedule my dumpster rental?
It’s recommended to schedule as far as in advance as possible to ensure availability, especially during busy season from April to October. However, most rentals can be accommodated on 1 business day notice & at times same day service is available dependent on our schedule.
What are the weight limits for the dumpster rental?
Most of our dumpsters have weight limits included in the rental rate, please inquire about them to avoid additional fees or unforeseen charges.
What size dumpster is best for my project?
It is difficult for us to determine the best size for your project for many reasons but primarily because we don’t know the requirements of your project or the amount of debris you have to dispose of. It is recommended you work to determine your approximate waste as a volume measurement to determine the best size, for your project however, we suggest over estimating to account for airspace between items in the container. We offer a variety of dumpsters in sizes such as a 10 yard, 20 yard, or 30 yard or 40 yards. Please review our container specifications for further details before ordering.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Our standard rental duration is 30 days. Additional rental time is charged at $5/day. If you are finished with your dumpster before your 30 day rental is elapsed please call our office to schedule a pickup.
What if I need another dumpster?
Simply call our office during normal business hours 7am-4:30pm to schedule a switch (exchange) or order online. You will pay the same low price on any additional container of the same size & specification.
What size boxes can I use for concrete disposal?
Concrete can only be hauled in our 10 yard dumpsters due to weight restrictions. Please specify if your dumpster will be utilized for concrete at the time of ordering. Special flat rates apply.
Do I need to be onsite for delivery or pickup?
In most cases, we do not require someone to be on-site for the delivery or pickup of a container, provided we have clear instructions on where to place it. The only exception is when the container is being placed on grass or any non-paved surface, as these surfaces may be prone to damage; in such instances, we request that someone be present during the delivery.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway or property?
We suggest that the customer protect any surface where the container will be placed by using 4′ x 8′ plywood sheets. As outlined in the terms and conditions of the container rental, “Customer acknowledges that any private right-of-way provided (as disclosed in the delivery questions) is sufficient to support the weight of all equipment and vehicles needed to perform the contracted service. The customer assumes full responsibility for any damage to private driveways, pavements, or road surfaces, as well as the entire area where the container is placed. Creative Disposal & Recycling LLC is not liable for damage to any private driving surface, pavement, or underlying subsurface, including lawns, along the route necessary to perform the contracted service.” Please keep in mind that the truck and equipment used for container delivery are large and heavy, requiring ample space for turns and maneuvering. To help prevent damage, we recommend placing plywood sheets on any potentially vulnerable surfaces, including lawns.
Are there prohibited items that cannot be disposed of in the dumpster?
Prohibited items include hazardous materials, chemicals, paints, liquids, dirt, industrial waste, computers, TVs & electronics, florescent tubes, batteries, tires, and medical waste.
Do I need a permit to place the dumpster on my property or in a public area such as a street?
Check local regulations; permits are typically required for public areas such as streets. Some municipalities or HOAs will have restrictions on when & where dumpsters can be placed. Please reach out to the applicable authority prior to scheduling your dumpster rental.
Can I place the dumpster on grass or unpaved areas?
Dumpsters should be placed on a firm, level & stable surface to prevent sinking or tipping. If you require a dumpster to be placed in your yard, please call to discuss accommodations.
What if I need the dumpster for longer than initially planned?
Our standard rental duration is 30 days. Additional rental time is charged at $5/day.
How do I properly load the dumpster to maximize space and weight distribution?
Distribute weight evenly front to back & place heavier items towards the bottom when possible. Dumpster can only be filled to “Fill Line.” Overloading the dumpster prevents safe transportation & will result in your dumpster not being able to be picked up which could result in a service “trip charge.”
Are there any additional fees or charges I should be aware of?
Yes, please inquire about possible fees for exceeding weight limits, prohibited items, frozen load dig-out charges & trip charges. These fees are all listed & explained in your Rental Agreement.
What if the driver comes for delivery or pick up and I am not ready for the container to be dropped or removed or there is circumstances that it cannot be picked up or delivered?
It is your responsibility to ensure the site is properly prepared for delivery or pickup on the scheduled date. Please be advised that any additional trips will incur a “trip charge” of $120.00 per trip, as outlined in the initial quote. Common reasons for trip charges include, but are not limited to, blocked delivery sites, insufficient space or unsafe conditions for delivery vehicles and equipment, containers filled beyond the designated level line, vehicles obstructing access, restricted materials in the container, and adverse site conditions such as snow, ice, soft soil, standing water or other hazards. To avoid incurring these additional charges, we encourage you to contact us promptly to arrange for rescheduling, if necessary.
Can I dispose of large appliances or electronic waste in the dumpster?
No, large appliances or electronics should not be placed in a general disposal dumpster, however, we can provide disposal of these items separately. Please inquire for specific guidelines regarding disposal of electronics, appliances, tires etc.
What should I do if the dumpster gets damaged during use?
Please report any damage to us immediately so we can assess the extent of the damage & determine an appropriate course of action.
Should I keep recyclable materials separate for proper disposal?
Yes, if recycling options are available, separate recyclables from general waste for eco-friendly disposal. Please inquire with us if you have questions.
What type of debris can I dispose of in the dumpster?
You can typically dispose of construction debris, household waste, yard waste, and non-hazardous materials.
How do I schedule a pickup?

Can I move or relocate the dumpster myself?
No, please contact us for assistance with moving or repositioning the dumpster. Fees will apply as outlined in your rental agreement.
Can I rent multiple dumpsters for a large project?
Yes, you can rent multiple dumpsters at once if needed to accommodate the volume of waste generated or schedule switch outs (exchanges) as needed to get an empty container onsite to continue your project.
How do I properly dispose of hazardous materials that cannot go in the dumpster?
Follow local regulations for disposing of hazardous materials at designated facilities.
Can I cancel or reschedule my dumpster rental if needed?
Yes, please reach out to our office as soon as possible to prevent any unwanted service charges such as a trip charge as outlined above.
